7. Standage Tunnel and the narrow Huddersfield Canal
The Huddersfield Narrows Canal slides into Standage, the deepest, longest and tallest channel tunnel in the UK. 4. Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland
Hadrian’s Wall is an ancient defensive fortification in the Roman province of Britannia that was begun in 122 AD during the reign of Emperor Hadrian. The ancient northern border of the Roman Empire and stretched from one side of England to the other along 132 km. The wall goes up and down through the steep hills. new forest (“Bosque Nuevo” in Spanish) is an area in the south of England in the United Kingdom consisting of large expanses of pastures, heath and old-growth forests found in the highly populated region of the south east of England.
