The Porsche Cayenne has received a major update that improves the powertrain, styling, and cabin.
The turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 gets a 13 horsepower increase, paired with an additional 36 lb-ft, for new totals of 348 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque.
The Cayenne E-Hybrid combines this turbocharged V6 with a 174-horsepower electric, which represents a range of 463-hp.
Another improvement of the hybrid powertrain is the increase in battery capacity from 17.9 to 25.9 kWh, bringing its purely electric range to 90 kilometers. It has an 11 kW onboard charger that recharges the battery in two and a half hours.
The Cayenne S swaps the twin-turbo V6 for a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 468 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque; those numbers represent an increase of 34 hp and 37 lb-ft over the previous engine.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is reached in 4.7 seconds and the top speed is 273 km/h.
The Cayenne Turbo GT receives an injection of 19hp, bringing its total power now to 650hp, with acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 305km/h.
A weight reduction package is offered for the Turbo GT, making it 32.6 kg lighter.
The Cayenne, S, and E-Hybrid versions receive new twin-valve shock absorbers for separate adjustment of rebound and compression, the suspension includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).
An air suspension is offered as an alternative, which is standard on the Turbo GT.
Styling has also improved and now features redesigned headlights with more angular contours, showing influence from the electric Taycan.
The front bumper and bonnet are newly designed and at the rear, you can see new lights and the license plate has been relocated to the bumper.
