With Mercury sextile Neptune in our midst, we can expect our days to be filled with memories – in a way that makes us feel both sad and nostalgic.
It’s the kind of day where we say, “Wow, things have definitely changed since the old days,” and “I miss that.” We give more importance to the past than now.
But, unfortunately, we tend to turn the present moment, the present, into something fearful and distasteful.
Maybe we even realize that we are doing this, but it will not matter because it makes the day difficult. After all, we can’t get out of it. Duty may call, and responsibility may come.
We will continue to compare everything to the past, emphasizing that things were better ‘at the time’ and are not worth much today.
Perhaps this is the way for some people to take a break from the heavy responsibilities of the day. However, this won’t really work, given that our mental presence is needed.
And so, with a boost to Mercury sextile Neptune, we’ll slip past, where we think it sound safe, and better than what we have today.
But, of course, we’ll be kidding ourselves, and we’ll be mindful of that too. Alas, it is not the only day when we think that living in the past is dandy.
It’s the day we also pretend that we haven’t grown up, that we’re as bad as we used to be, and that we’re not ready to learn any more lessons. In other words, “Get off my lawn!”
Three zodiac signs whose horoscope is rough and has to overcome challenges and obstacles on Thursday, March 17, 2022:
(23 September – 22 October)
You might not find this day so difficult, but that doesn’t mean you won’t make it difficult for others because that’s exactly what you’ll be doing.
You think you have a right to say anything you want and if you say something that’s downright bad, well, you’ll do whatever you want, and what if they can’t joke. And that’s how you’ll leave your every scathing comment – it’s just a joke.
“Am I not hilarious? Am I not a riot of laughs, with my insults and deafening slurs or my complete lack of respect?”
What makes this day difficult for you is that someone will call you out on it, and you don’t like to be the person associated with irrelevant behavior.
That’s what you’re becoming, Libra: irrelevant. The more you cling to the past, the more you become like an ignorant who refuses to change with the times.
(23 October – 21 November)
Mercury sextile Neptune turns you into ‘that person’ who constantly quotes old songs and believes life was a lot better than it ever was before.
While it doesn’t sound particularly harsh, you may find that your opinions and ideas are not as cherished by others as you thought they would be. In fact, you’re starting to look like a snob, or worse: someone who is completely out of touch with reality.
What you think is good for you, but not necessarily the way to go for someone else. That’s why you judge and condemn those around you who look at it as if their path has no value.
This transit makes you picky and intolerant, and we all know that this kind of feeling doesn’t get you what you want. In fact, it helps to isolate and prevent you from enjoying whatever is in front of your face.
