61% of Spaniards prefer repeat elections to amnesty

A survey by the DYM Institute shows that more than 60% of those consulted, or what is the same, 3 out of every 5 Spaniards, believe that if not for the fact that Pedro Sánchez needs the support of the Junts this season , let’s not talk about amnesty. Another fact that emerges from this survey is that more than 61% want to have a new general election.

This is what is indicated in the polls because nobody knows about the negotiations, because the secrecy is complete with the PSOE and there is no day or speech that the independentists will not take advantage of to ask for amnesty, a measure presented as ” ” essential” to negotiate the support of Junts, as stated by Pere Aragonés.

The precise discretion with which these negotiations were conducted did not please everyone within the socialist ranks. García Page joked about not asking for more transparency but rather that “there is some.” But the truth is that until now everything is hypothesis and while Puigdemont’s people are also pushing for Catalonia to be recognized as a country.

The PSOE hides precisely these demands, that of the independentists and Sumar to justify that the debate is on the table, “58 parliamentarians have requested it.” Meanwhile, the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, insisted that the acting President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, “is only a supporting actor” in the investiture, where “the only protagonist” is the pro-independence party.

For Feijóo, Catalonia “needs a revolution of truth” to overcome the “spiral of intensive lies” in which it has lived in recent years and which is “damaging” Catalan society and economy, he said that “in slow motion” .
