8 young people in Madrid are investigating because of the harassment

A situation repeated. Eight young people are being investigated by the Madrid Municipal Police for committing the shameful hazing in September against several university students from the Galdós Residence, located in the district of Moncloa, near the university area of Madrid, confirmed the police sources.

The events allegedly took place in the early morning of the 13th in the nearby Jaime del Amo park, a frequent place for students to gather at the start of the course. There, many women, some minors, received insults on their knees from some youths of the same sex, many of them sexist. The victims wear black bras or reflective vests and are in a submissive attitude, as seen in the images broadcast by ‘La Sexta’.

In addition, the interrogators forced them to lick fish, eat Tabasco and dog biscuits and drink wine while shouting. Apparently, this is the punishment for breaking a ‘celibacy rule’ imposed on them, which includes no romantic relationships with other students in the residence.

These humiliations were recorded by other colleagues and shared with them but with the order not to send them to people outside their community. But the videos reached the director of the Galdós residence, who reported these events to the Moncloa Municipal Police station, which specializes in hazing.

The agents identified and interrogated those involved in the events, who were already listed under investigation for crimes against moral integrity and coercion. The case has been filed. In addition, some of the attackers have already been evicted from the residence and may also see their university studies completed, using the new ‘anti-hazing’ regulations.
