The motive of the event that happened on Campo Elías Street in the La Pica neighborhood, in Palo Negro, Libertador municipality, Aragua state, was aimed at stealing the victim’s personal belongings and other household items.
It was reported that the citizen responded in the name of Yosmir Jesús Quiroz, identity card number 18,638,286, who, according to visual inspection, was located in a state of decomposition.
The man lived alone in that house, and the last time they saw him alive was Monday, December 4, Santa Barbara Day, in the afternoon.
When they didn’t see him outside his home, he was reported missing by the residents and after hours, the body started to smell causing the neighbors to notice that something was happening in Quiroz’s residence.
Due to the facts, the case was reported to the police headquarters of the municipality of Libertador and several commissions were transferred to Campo Elías street. After entering the house and inspecting the area, they observed the decomposing body of the citizen.
Then they informed the officers of the Cagua Homicide Coordination and after a visual inspection, they observed the body tied under the bed.
Similarly, the investigators looked at the house and realized that the strangers had committed a robbery, because they took almost everything and the man’s personal belongings.
Now Cicpc sleuths have begun an investigation to identify and find the location of those responsible for killing Yosmir Jesús Quiroz, with the intention of bringing him to justice and paying for what they did against that citizen.
It is said that the detectives will summon the relatives of the deceased and residents of La Pica to give statements, as well as reactivate the fingerprints inside the property.
It cannot be ruled out that the perpetrators of the crime live in La Pica or the surrounding areas. They knew the man and also knew that he lived alone. It is believed that they entered the house at night to mislead the residents and not be discovered. However, there is no perfect crime.
