A hidden camera shows the abuse a grandmother suffered in a care center

Heartbreaking footage shows an 89-year-old grandmother suffering from dementia being abused by four brutal carers after her family found suspicious bruises on her body and hid a secret camera in his room.

Sisters Danielle and Rebecca Hinsley unknowingly took pictures that “broke our hearts” after becoming concerned when their grandmother Beryl Wall’s behavior changed and she suffered injuries to her body.

The couple complained to Wolverhampton care home staff in February 2020 but were not satisfied with the response so they took matters into their own hands.

Ms Wall’s granddaughters placed a Yi Eye Wi-Fi camera in a picture frame in their grandmother’s bedroom in an attempt to see what happened to Ms Wall, who was unable to speak at the time.

In a Michelle Keegan Fool Me Once style tactic, the £120 camera was disguised and recorded footage via motion detection directly on one of the sisters’ phones.

Ms Wall has been suffering from dementia since 2015 and was 89 at the time of the abuse.

Sadly, the beloved grandmother of six, great-grandmother of 12 and great-great-grandmother of one died on October 6 last year, aged 92, shortly after her abusers were found guilty.
