A man died on Friday morning, November 3, after his truck collided with a securities truck in the municipality of Monterrey.
In the incident, a woman was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for medical attention.
The accident happened in Prolongación Madero, known as Y Griega in the neighborhood of Madero.
In the first reports, the van that the victims were riding in was going very fast, when they suddenly collided with the securities truck.
The driver of the car was trapped and died on the spot, while the woman who was the co-pilot was seriously injured.
Municipal and state Civil Protection elements and Red Cross paramedics went to the site to treat the injured.
Due to the accident, the north side traffic lane is closed, while the right lane next to Fundidora Park is open.

Woman dies after being run over on Lázaro Cárdenas Avenue
On October 27, a woman, approximately 35 years old, died after being hit by Lázaro Cárdenas Avenue at its intersection with Puerto Padre Kino in the municipality of Monterrey.
The events took place in the neighborhood of Las Brisas, tenth sector, in the direction of San Pedro towards Monterrey, where elements of the Civil Protection arrived to respond to the report.
The authorities indicated that the responsible driver is a 24-year-old single man.
On the same day, a person died after his truck crashed into the median of José Vasconcelos Avenue, in the municipality of San Pedro.
The crash happened near the line of Lázaro Cárdenas Avenue, near the San AgustÃn shopping plaza. The incident became worse than usual since the affected truck, a white Dodge, caught fire.
Elements of the Nuevo León Civil Protection, firefighters and agents of the San Pedro Municipal Police arrived at the scene.
