A man shot and killed in a car in Oakland after an argument at an intersection

Auckland. The 31-year-old man was shot and killed Monday night outside Mosswood Park after getting into some sort of altercation with another man when he was stopped in his car, authorities said.

On Tuesday, the man’s condition was stable.

The shooting, recorded with ShotSpotter technology, was reported at around 10:39 pm Monday at the intersection of West MacArthur Boulevard and Webster Street.

Police said the victim was in his car, which was heading east on West MacArthur, and pulled up on Webster Street, apparently due to traffic lights. While he was in his car, a man approached him and, after exchanging words, shot him, authorities said.
