A person was seriously injured in a collision between two motorcycles in the municipality of Playa, Havana, as confirmed on social networks.
The accident happened on streets 44 and 19 in Playa on Wednesday afternoon. As a result of the impact, the rider of one of the bikes was shot, fell face up on the asphalt, lost consciousness, and started bleeding, according to a description posted to the Internet user in the Facebook group “ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES for more experience and fewer victims!”.
Apparently, one of the people involved in the accident ran the red light.
According to the witness, the man was immediately taken to the military hospital.
“Luckily the SIUM is on the corner; luckily there was a car there, and they took him to the military hospital straight away,” he wrote.
Another person who observed the event clarified that the motorcycles involved were a Susuki and a white electric motorcycle.
