Wash hands have always been of great importance and both parents and teachers tr toy get used to it in children since childhood. The benefits of children being able to learn by playing so they know firsthand the scope of everything they see in the classroom.
On this basis, in 2019, two American teachers conducted a practical experiment in science class So that they can understand the importance of cleanliness. Now, an article dedicated to the spread of science has shown it again.
As the teachers told in their day, the reason for doing this work was flu season has begun disease that usually affects a large percentage of people children,n and the elderly.
He bought pieces of fresh bread and set to work: one of them he took out without touching, the other he touched with his dirty hands, the other wash hands with soap and water was disinfected with antibacterial gel from his hands and one was passed through the keyboard of a laptop.
Then they let the bacteria do their work for 3 or 4 weeks because of the preservatives in the sliced bread. The teacher who described the experiment on her Facebook page stressed that everything was done without major technical resources because they are in a public elementary school.
This experiment with a slice of bread shows the effectiveness of hand washing with soap and water.

The results were more than clear. The piece touched with clean hands using normal hand soap and water was practically the same as the piece not touched with hands. that was touched by dirty hands had a large amount offungus whilee the hands touched by the gel disinfected showed a discolored patch as evidence that these types of products do not work as well as soaps.
In the end, as expected, the piecethat passed through the keyboard was completely green and rotten. The teacher confirms that the children were amazed at what they saw and shouted: “It’s disgusting”,
Jeralee Metcalf, the teacher responsible for this experiment, also wanted to give a message to all parents and society in general: « As if someone is tired of being sick, wash your hands! Remind your kids to wash their hands! And hand sanitizer is no substitute for soap!”
