A New York Jets jersey bearing Aaron Rodgers’ name became the best-selling jersey in the NFL for the month of April. Rodgers’ arrival in the Jets ranked as one of the biggest moves of the off-season.
The Official Store of the National Football League revealed via their official Twitter account that the number 8 Jets shirt was the most requested by fans. The former Green Bay Packers player outplayed other big-field stars.
The podium for best-selling NFL jerseys for April is completed by Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. It should be noted that new Packers quarterback Jordan Love’s jersey was the seventh best-selling jersey last month.
Elsewhere, the Aaron Rodgers era with the New York Jets begins Sept. 11 against the Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football.” The game is going to be very emotional as it will be played in the framework of the 22nd anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
