Former Chivas and Cruz Azul player, Orbelin Pineda made his debut as a scorer in his new team, AEK Athens. The Mexican midfielder is enjoying a great moment in this presidency under Almeida’s command.
Pineda took the ball from the left wing and began to shoot from the edge of the large field to get rid of the opponents and nail the ball into the upper corner, giving the opponent a goalkeeper a chance.

This is Pineda’s first goal with AEK Athens, but beyond scoring, Orbelin has been involved in recent games, being one of the team’s best.

Unlike the rest of the European leagues that start activity this weekend, the Greek Super League kicks off in two weeks. AEK Athens debuted against Lamia on 20 August.
