Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja on Monday announced that they will welcome their first child together this year. Sonam shared several pictures of herself with husband Anand in her arms. She captioned the post, “Four hands. To raise you the best we can. two hearts. It will strike in unison with you, every step of the way. a family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.” Sonam added the hashtag #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022 to her post.

Sonam tied the knot with Anand at the Anand Karaj ceremony on May 8, 2018, which was followed by a star-studded reception. In an interview with Vogue, Sonam spoke about Anand and how he is grateful that he didn’t marry anyone from Bollywood. She said, “I’m really lucky to have met someone who is like-minded and feminist. Thank God I haven’t met someone who is from the same industry as me, because their worldview is too limited. Maybe it is everything that is happening in Bollywood.”
Sonam was last seen in the 2019 film, The Zoya Factor, an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel of the same name. She also had a cameo role in Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s AK Vs AK, which released on Netflix in 2020. Sonam will next be seen in Blind.
