Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Anuel AA surprised his followers on Sunday with a shocking message on his Instagram account, where he revealed that he underwent emergency surgery and his life was in danger.
The 30-year-old artist, whose real name is Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, shared a photo in which he appears recovering in a hospital bed, connected to oxygen.

The singer regretted that because of that situation he could not continue working at this time. This includes the delay in the release of their long-awaited album ‘Rompecorazones’, which was scheduled to come out in two weeks.
“I’m sorry for making my fans look bad by changing the date of the EP, which has been delayed,” he stated.
Anuel reflects on his career and his fight to recover after facing personal problems in the past.
“I took a lot of trouble to get my career back after I almost destroyed it myself,” he admitted in his message.
The singer, who is known as the ex-boyfriend of fellow artist Karol G, revealed that this failure came at a time when he had an ambitious work plan and a solid work team.
However, he stated that he is confident that this is part of God’s plan and that he is willing to wait to overcome the difficulties.
Anuel asked his followers to keep him in their prayers and thanked the doctors who treated him and saved him.
