Using artificial intelligence to improve the sales area in his business could save professionals between one and three hours of work a day. This was confirmed by a recent study by the CRM platform Hubspot, which compiled the opinion of 1,000 sales professionals in Spain and Latin America.
According to the aforementioned survey, about half of the sales professionals who have integrated artificial intelligence tools into their activity, 46%, claim that they will help to save between one and three hours of the working day. On their part, 14% asked to save more than six hours each day, working about three quarters of an hour.
In parallel, the study affirms that establishing strong relationships with prospects and customers is the primary goal of companies, according to 76% of those interviewed. However, despite the importance of connecting with the customer, only 34% of sales professionals use tools and implement personalization strategies in their contact skills.
70% of these professionals think that acquiring this new technology will have a significant impact on their team’s productivity levels, while 66% say they regret that their sales methods are losing effectiveness over time. “Absolutely, companies will need to balance these productive factors – workers and technology – to support an appropriate work environment that fosters a sense of belonging to companies,” assessed by Hubspot.
Artificial intelligence is making marketing better, but not without its challenges
As the company highlighted, “Artificial intelligence is no longer around the corner, but it is a thing and here to stay. And, although there is still room for improvement in many ways, the truth is starting to change the way you work in the field of sales,” they explained.
This belief is proven by sales professionals whose companies have invested in intelligent technology. The majority, 84%, consider that it is important in the activities they perform every day. In fact, the data confirms this, because more than 79% stated that they “made more sales or more sales using AI tools than before” from Hubspot.
However, incorporating Artificial Intelligence into businesses to boost sales is an option that is not without risk. Thus, among the main problems that companies are currently facing are the increase in expenses (8%), the difficulty of finding potential customers and the increase in costs to reach them, 7% in both cases. In this way, 37% of sales professionals indicated that their company is currently facing many problems to sell.
In this context, “companies are finding better ways to optimize their products and the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the waiting, sales and customer service processes is one of them”. According to the results of the study, the state of sales in 2023 shows a greater use of technology and with it the integration of professionals”, they concluded from Hubspot.
