At least one person was killed in a shootout this afternoon, Friday, August 18, in the center of the municipality of Chalco, in the state of Mexico.
The first reports detailed that one person, a man, died from gunfire in front of the Tuiio store on Avenida Aquiles Serdán, near the point known as La Óptica, an area of ​​high trade and transport, died later two men attacked him directly.
Two other people, one under the age of five and another man, were injured in the area of ​​the street stalls that are regularly set up there. The point is also used for the delivery of goods by the so-called “Nenis” of the community.
The men who fell victim to the attack were identified as merchants.
