Atala Sarmiento, the host of Ventaneando, spoke exclusively with us about the extortion case in which she is the victim of an intimate photo she sent to her husband not long ago.
What did Atala Sarmiento say?
From Barcelona, Atala Sarmiento joined us to talk about the intimate photo that someone hacked from her phone and is now being extorted for. “Yeah, very unfortunate, sad it happened four years ago already, 2019, the first time this happened to me.”
Atala assured that the picture in question was taken out of context and explained that it is a picture “with nothing morbid, no erotic intent, no double meaning, no sexual content in this sense”. I think it’s hot. This is a picture I took of myself just getting out of the shower, just out of the shower.
“My husband sent me a message and I told him: ‘Getting out of the shower, I bring a towel’, via chat and I took the photo and sent it to him. Then I told him ‘remove the photo, I’ll Hata dunga’, but we sometimes don’t notice that the pictures we delete end up in the trash,” he said.
What did he say about extortionists?
Atala assured that unfortunately there are many people “without a doubt, there are psychopathic people, there are people who don’t have that kind of activity and respect people enough and then someone like me and some others. The host recalled that this photo was taken once when her husband was in Barcelona and she was in Mexico. “He started the day and I was already going to sleep, I was a bit tired and I told him ‘I’m putting on my pyjamas.’ He sent me a picture at the beginning of the day, the fact is that unfortunately these things you are not careful about or you do not know… they live in the trash, they live in the cloud and they can hack you”.
