Just two months after the Beachlife festival brought its chill beach vibes back to the South Bay, organizers have announced dates for 2022.
The festival returns to Redondo Beach’s Seaside Lagoon on May 13–15 and tickets are on sale through the event’s website.
According to a press release, the heads of the festival will be announced in January. However, in addition to the mix of famous acts and local rockers the festival has booked in the past, the event will also bring back its speakeasy stage, which debuted in 2021 and featured acoustic performances by renowned punk artists and was curated Was. By Pennywise frontman Jim Lindbergh.
The Sidestage Experience is also returning, where star chefs cook and serve a four-course menu on the side of the festival’s main stage.
Like other events, the 2020 edition of the Beachlife Festival, which was scheduled to take place in May, was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic also forced the 2021 edition to be rescheduled from May 21-23 to September 10-12.
The 2021 festival featured nearly 50 acts, showcasing songs from Jane’s Addiction, Cage the Elephant, Counting Crows and songs by her late father Bob Marley, led by artists including Ziggy Marley and Stephen Marley.
General admission tickets for the 2022 festival are $379 for three days, General Admission Plus, which allows unlimited in and out, is $399 for three days. Three-day VIP passes, which allow VIP entry and access to areas, are $799 and the Captain’s Pass, which includes private bungalows and valet parking, is $2,999 for three days.
