Biden will meet with senior management to discuss COVID-19 vaccine authorization for private companies

President Joe Biden will meet with executives from Walgreens, The Walt Disney Company and Microsoft on Wednesday to discuss his government’s recently announced COVID-19 vaccine authorization for private companies.

According to reports, Microsoft President Brad Smith, Walt Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Columbia Sportswear Company President and CEO Tim Boyle, and Walgreens Boot Alliance CEO Rozbrough Business leaders such as Seoul plan to attend the meeting. A White House official.

Business roundtables representing hundreds of companies also praised this mandate.

The White House official said that Biden will discuss how executives implement these requirements, and the event will also “call for more companies across the country to step up and adopt similar measures.”

Biden told reporters at the White House on Tuesday after returning from a trip to the West that he believes most people support his mission, which includes requiring federal workers to be vaccinated, but “there will always be a small number of people who say’no.'”

Authorization faces some resistance, including challenges in court.
