May 2

Overnight in the 00 block of Ellis Avenue: Three suspects broke several car windows in the block.

11 a.m. in the 200 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone broke into a mail truck and stole mail.

10:44 a.m. in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A 32-year-old man is approached after falling asleep at the wheel. He was found to be under the influence of an opium.

00 block of East Campbell Avenue at 1:49 p.m.: Someone was reported working suspiciously and identified as the suspect by the business owner, who burgled at their other location on April 29. The suspect was arrested and handed over to Sunnyvale DPS. When he was stopped, he had stolen property in his possession.

On April 6, a 2006 Ford F250 recovered a theft report from Gilroy at the 2200 Block of South Winchester Boulevard at 1:57 p.m.

2:44 p.m. in the 400 block of West Saniaux Avenue: Officers respond to a welfare check of a suspect who fled to his vehicle on foot after he noticed that officers had moved to avoid talking to them. He has a suspended license.

Overnight in the 70 block of Ellis Avenue: Someone gained access to the vehicle by breaking a window and stole personal belongings.

6:20 pm in the 2000 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man punches an employee on the assumption that he has had poor customer service.

6:49 p.m. in the 400 block of Kenneth Street: A woman claimed the suspect had threatened to kill her during a previous argument.

11:19 p.m. in the 800 block of Cambrian Drive: A man was knocking on the door and was found too drunk to take care of himself.

400 Block of Salmar Avenue : A white company 2014 Ford E150 work van was stolen.

May 3

8 a.m. in the 1300 block of Camden Avenue: Someone used a victim’s credit card information to make a purchase.

At 9:06 a.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A 35-year-old man was found under the influence of a controlled substance. She named another person to prevent officers from learning about her five outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. He also had fentanyl.

8 am in 2500 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone stole items from the bed of the truck.

3:05 p.m. on the San Tomas Expressway and Hamilton Avenue: A man punched his brother while traveling in a vehicle. To avoid a dispute, the brother got down from the vehicle and the accused fled from the spot.

11:07 pm at 200 block of Union Avenue: A 30-year-old man was approached during disturbances and had a warrant for domestic violence.

Overnight in the 200 block of West Rincón Avenue: Someone broke into a vehicle and stole goods.

May 4

8:21 a.m. in the 200 block of Union Avenue: During a brawl, a 22-year-old woman suffered a hand injury, and the suspect took a cellphone out of her hand when she tried to call the police. The victim has a domestic violence restraining order against the suspect.

Overnight in the 600 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone broke in by breaking the lock on the garage door.

Overnight in the 1000 block of Steinway Avenue: Someone broke the rear window with a vehicle.

10:54 am on the 1500 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A 38-year-old woman is pulled off the sidewalk and found to be too drunk to care for herself. He had a felony warrant for his arrest.

8:36 a.m. In Hamilton and Carlin Avenues: A 38-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He had objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication. He was arrested and refused to get into the patrol car, kicking an officer twice.

11:30 a.m. At Hamilton Avenue and Creekside Way: Two people stopped for vehicle code violations. One was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia, and the other had an outstanding warrant.

1:19 p.m. In Hamilton and Llewellyn Avenues: A 43-year-old woman was stopped for a vehicle code violation. She was found to have a DUI and was arrested.

At 2:23 a.m. on the 80 block of West Rincón Avenue: A 27-year-old man collided with a carport and fell unconscious. He was found to have a DUI and was arrested.

00 block of Kim Lewis Drive at 5:10 a.m. A 30-year-old woman arrived unannounced and was not wanted there by the resident. He had outstanding warrants.

500 blocks of W Hamilton Avenue: Someone stole mail by opening a mailbox.

Overnight at the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Someone forcibly entered, stole belongings and fled the scene.

May 5

10:42 am in the 3800 block of Compton Lane: An officer stole 2000 GMC safaris.

11:50 a.m. 70 N. First St: A 51-year-old man was seen shouting and trying to hit vehicles in the city area. Officers contacted him and found that he was too drunk to take care of himself.

2:30 am in 200 block of Mariana Way: Someone was raiding the victim’s property.

3:30 pm in the 1700 block of Grace Avenue: Someone sent the victim a fake check for $1,700.

9:59 p.m. on Merrimack Drive and San Tomas Expressway: An 18-year-old stole a 2016 Honda CRV that was running. He accelerated the Merrimack drive and hit the soundwall. He fled on foot but was located in the area. He was found to have a DUI on drugs and a case was registered against him.

1:04 at Llewellyn and Hamilton Avenues: A 35-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence of a provocateur and was arrested.

1:32 am in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A 52-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and a case was registered against him.

1:55 p.m. On Saniox Avenue and San Tomas Expressway: A 29-year-old man passed behind the wheel. He was arrested for DUI.

1:57 p.m. At Fryer Way and Winchester Boulevard: A 27-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to have a DUI and was arrested.

4:55 am in the 2300 block of South Bascom Avenue: A 49-year-old man started a “hot fire” behind a dumpster. He had narcotics and fentanyl.

5:19 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Campbell Avenue, a 40-year-old man was acting strange. He was contacted and cited for possessing drug paraphernalia.

1600 Block of Whitewood Lane: A 38-year-old man hit his 12-year-old daughter with a belt on her thigh, causing injury.

May 6

Overnight in 800 block of Charman Drive: Someone smashed a window and hit a vehicle and took away the goods.

9:07 am on South Bascom Avenue and Southwest Expressway: A 37-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was driving on a suspended license and had two warrants for rape.

9:41 a.m. in the 1800 block of Hamilton Avenue: A 41-year-old man was screaming and screaming. He was found to be under the influence of a stimulant and in possession of drug paraphernalia and had a warrant for misdemeanor.

10:33 am in the 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue: Suspect put on a suit and started exiting the shop. On confronting the victim, the accused threatened to kill her and moved towards her. The victim was fearing for her safety. The accused fled from the spot on foot.

10:18 pm: A 56-year-old woman was involved in a minor collision in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue. She was found to have a DUI and was arrested.

12:02 On San Tomas Expressway and Campbell Avenue: A 32-year-old driver fell asleep at the wheel and was diagnosed with a DUI.

Budd Avenue and California Street at 3:26 p.m.: A 30-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to have a DUI and was arrested.

May 7

Overnight in the 500 block of Railway Avenue: Someone stole a black Caravan bicycle worth $4,500.

1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone vandalized the bathroom with graffiti.

11 a.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone stole the victim’s wallet after he left it unattended in a shopping cart, then used her credit card to make purchases totaling $400 at various locations.

6:57 pm on the 400 block of East Campbell Avenue: A 38-year-old man was shouting abusive words for no apparent reason. He was found too drunk to take care of himself.

At 5 p.m. in the 1000 block of Holmes Avenue: A silver 1999 Honda Civic is stolen.

Grant and third at 1:37: A 29-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to have a DUI.

1:58 on the San Tomas Expressway and Winchester Boulevard: A 38-year-old woman was stopped for a vehicle code violation. During a search of her vehicle, an ounce of methamphetamine was found inside a hidden hairspray container. The woman’s 7-year-old son was in the car.

May 8

10:09 am on Hamilton Avenue and Winchester Boulevard: A 41-year-old man was walking in traffic and throwing lemons at passing vehicles. He was contacted and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Overnight in the 400 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone used power tools to gain access to a business and stole cash.

6:18 pm in the 200 block of Dillian Avenue: A 39-year-old man came to his parents’ house in violation of a restraining order. He was arrested and tried to escape with handcuffs.
