Capital Territory Gives Thanks – The Daily Gazette

We are not out of COVID-19 yet, but we still have a lot to be thankful for this year. For many, this year’s Thanksgiving celebrations will be particularly sweet, bolstered by the gratitude that comes with the absence of contact for so many of us for so long.

To mark the holiday, our reporters reached out to the community to ask what some of you are grateful for this holiday.

Some are grateful for good health, a deep appreciation from the tragic loss of life during the pandemic. Others are especially grateful for loved ones, bonds deep in the solitude of conflict and quarantine. Still others are grateful for simple things, from quiet walks in nature to the kindness of strangers.

So whatever you are grateful for this year, embrace it. And Happy Thanksgiving.
