Carla Souza -37 years old – announced that in the month of June the Hollywood actors strike will start.
This came amid the most recent crisis facing the entertainment industry in the United States.
Well, on May 2 the Writers’ Union decided to go on strike.
For this reason, series and films that were already in scriptwriting development were brought to an abrupt halt by this decision.
But now Hollywood could see them in an even darker light because according to actress Carla Souza, a new strike is about to begin in Hollywood.
Carla Souza announces there will be an actors’ strike in Hollywood in June
Actress Carla Souza announced during the Guadalajara Film Festival that the Hollywood actors’ strike would end at the end of the month, June 30.
What her peers and colleagues will see from what Carla Souza says is that Hollywood is no longer a field of exploitation.
Something that even Carla Souza would like to promote in Mexico.
And although Carla Souza didn’t reveal much about how Hollywood actors and actresses will move forward, it’s safe to assume Hollywood will be even more affected.
When will the actors and writers strike in Hollywood end?
It is not yet known whether there is any tentative date for the writers’ strike to end.
Productions will be put on hold until further notice, or at least until an agreement is reached in favor of the Hollywood screenwriters.
For its part, the actors’ strike will begin by the end of June, so it is still unknown whether the actors will take similar measures and stop their work.
This would mean that the series and films that are already shelved due to the writers’ strike will be further delayed by the new Hollywood actors’ strike.
