In Thinking Management and Research, the Crowle Institute provides insights on current economic, policy, risk, compliance, public health and cyber issues. Tucker serves as a senior consultant on geopolitical issues affecting trade and the global economy.

Tucker has more than 20 years of experience in comparative politics, focusing on mass politics, elections and voting, strengthening party affiliation, public opinion formation and political opposition, and regional specialization in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
In connection with his role with the Krill Institute, Taker continued to serve as a political professor at the University of New York at the Russian and Slavic Studies Department and at the Center for Information Science. He is also the Director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Jordan Russia and the Acting Director of the Center for Social Media and Politics at NYU.
He has been the co-author and editor of The Washington Post Politics and Policy Blog, “Monkey Cage” for more than a decade.
In recent years, his research has focused on examining the relationship between social media and politics, focusing on ways in which social media data can further analyze political trends. Tucker’s latest study covers party echoes, false information and false news, hate speech and propaganda, algorithms and political polarization, online networks and protests, how dictatorships respond to online opposition, and more.
