General Motors defined the Chevrolet Montana as a SUP, meaning a smart utility pickup, and focused its key strengths on interior space, cargo space, and fuel efficiency.
The Chevrolet Montana comes to our country to complement the company’s offer, which is why it is placed in the segment of compact pickups.
This new Signature Bow Tie pickup will be available in two versions; LT and RS, both with the familiar 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged engine developing 130 hp and 140 Nb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
It will only be available with front-wheel drive, as the brand defines it as a pickup for the road.
This new pickup uses the GEM platform also used on the Tracker and Onix, and features a front end that recreates what was seen on the last generation Trailblazer sold in the US.
The main visual novelties of the Chevrolet Montana are:
