Chicago Bears vs. Baltimore Ravens: Everything You Need To Know About Week 11 Play Before Kick Off

The Chicago Bears defense will try to slow Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson without at least two key players on Sunday at Soldier Field.

The Bears sent midfielder Khalil Mak to the reserve on Friday and will undergo surgery on his left leg at the end of the season this week. Defender Akiem Hicks will also miss the game with an ankle injury.

And the safety of Eddie Jackson, who was restricted from training due to a hamstring injury, is questionable.

That could make it even more difficult to stop Jackson, who completed 199 out of 309 assists (64.4%) for 2,447 yards, 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions and rushed for 639 yards and two points.

Jackson missed the Ravens’ training on Wednesday and Thursday due to illness, but returned on Friday. He is listed as questionable for the game.

“When you have such a significant player as Khalil (leaves), the punch hits you harder, doesn’t it?” – said coach Matt Nagy. “But for the most part, we have a bunch of guys who are the fighters of that fight, and you’ve been feeling that all week.”

Meanwhile, Bears quarterback Justin Fields will try to build on his best record of the season, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9. But the Bears attack could have done without Allen Robinson’s broad receiver, who was listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury.

“It’s very difficult to replace someone like A-Rob,” said receiver Marquis Goodwin. “Just a great talent. Great leader. Overall a wonderful person. What we can do is know our assignments and play when the ball comes to us, just like he does. ”

Injury report

Along with Hicks, Jackson and Robinson, striker Elijah Wilkinson was listed on the Bear’s injury report with a back problem. He is dubious to play.

The Ravens have had a long list of players on record with injuries including Brandon Williams’ bow tackle (shoulder), outside midfielder Pernell McPhee (knee) and wide receiver Miles Boykin (finger), all of which have been declared out of the game.
