A major scandal rocked a Christian school in the US state of Alabama. A math teacher confessed to having sexual relations with two of her underage students.
The events took place at the school, Crenshaw Christian Academy, known as the home of the Cougars because of its American football team. The protagonist of this unusual case was identified as 35-year-old Chrystal Frost, who is also married and has three children.
According to American media, the situation became known after the directors of the educational institution found out that the woman had exchanged photos with sexual content with one of her students via the famous social network Snapchat.
Finally, one of the principals decided to clarify everything by confronting the teacher and asking her if the photos were true. Seeing that she was cornered, the woman assured her at that moment that everything was due to a “joke” with the student and that the pictures were not of her body.
In addition to the photos, the student also stated that his classmate had revealed to him that he was having sexual relations with the math teacher. According to his statement, the meetings apparently took place up to four times before the summer holidays, but there was no further contact after that.
This revelation prompted principals to notify authorities, prompting Luverne police to launch an investigation into the woman, which ultimately forced her to resign from the educational center.
Police investigation
As in the first case, the teacher asked him if he knew of a place where they could have sexual relations. After this encounter, the young man stated that the teacher had not spoken to him for a long time but later contacted him again to send him sexual photos and finally blocked him from her social networks.
After receiving all this evidence, the police arrested the teacher, and she admitted to having sexual encounters with her two students, for which she was eventually arrested. The woman is charged with unlawful sexual conduct, two felony counts of a school employee posting obscene material to a student, and electronic solicitation of a child.
For its part, the school, Crenshaw Christian Academy, has not made a public statement on the situation, which also keeps it in the spotlight of controversy.
The case has become a scandal in the North American country and sparked outrage in various places. Likewise, several parents have expressed concern that such situations continue to occur, which is why they have called on the authorities to ensure justice.
