Clara Brugada’s Utopia won a prize for sustainable architecture

The former mayor of Iztapalapa announced that the project “Utopia Estrella Iztapalapa” was driven during his management of the mayor’s office. He won a gold award at the Holcim Awards, given to the best sustainable architecture projects in the world.

Through your X account, the Coordinator of 4T in Mexico City announced at the award ceremony and assured that he was proud because “when pursued with true zeal and commitment, dreams and utopias can come true.”

The project initiated by Brugada and developed by Kano | Vera Arquitectura seeks to create a space with places for sport, culture, and ecological education. In a space of 34 thousand square meters, Utopia Estrella will provide entertainment for more than 230 thousand inhabitants of the area.
