“We are fighting for this Mexico of women, the Mexico of honesty, the Mexico of prosperity, the Mexico of well-being, so our movement is growing and will continue to grow,” said Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo in a meeting with militants from Morena in Ensenada, Baja California, where he stressed that Mexico should no longer be recognized as a country of corruption, privilege, and machismo.
“We want to continue building democracy and the freedoms of the country; we want to continue raising the name of Mexico so that it is no longer known as the Mexico of corruption, privileges, or machismo,” he added.
In this regard, the National Coordinator for the Defense of Transformation explained to the militants that Mexico is experiencing moments of change, which also means a time for women, so he said, “This is the time for women, but for changing women.”
“It has to be two arms because she is a woman and it is a change. It is not just a gender issue; it is a woman, and it is a change,” he said.
He stated that the goal of the movement is not only to protect what the country has achieved but also to think about the future that will continue to guarantee the basic rights of Mexicans, so unity and organization are necessary through the formation of the transformation. Defense Committees.
“We want to continue to improve the rights of the Mexican people and democratize our country, and for that, we need to organize and continue to add more Mexicans,” he emphasized.
For this reason, he made a brief summary of the qualities of the Morena militants, who nurtured and made the change movement even bigger.
“On our side, there are scientists, academics, experts, and activists from Morena who are building the Mexico of today and the Mexico of the future,” he celebrated.
For his part, the national president of Morena, Mario Delgado, highlighted the importance of inviting more people to the movement, especially those who agree with what is happening in the country.
“As we all want to continue the change, Dr. Sheinbaum said we need to invite more people to our movement. Many agree with what is happening in the country,” he commented.
Baja California is the 22nd state visited by Claudia Sheinbaum as the Defense Coordinator of the Fourth Transformation to meet with Morena’s national militancy.
