Las Tunas.- With the implementation of several strategies, the Las Tunas Maintenance and Construction Company (EMAC) has initiated the housing program in the province, and today is the main protagonist of the construction of these works.
During the visit in May of Miguel DÃaz-Canel Bermúdez, first secretary of the party and President of the Republic, the need to propose solutions to this problem was raised here; In response to this, the directors of EMAC offered a project of strategic lines which today gives favorable results.
The director engineer of the unit in Las Tunas, Pablo Enrique Panec Almaguer, explained that “the company is 107 percent complete of the plan with 59 houses at the end of April. We achieved this by resuming the completion of housing poles, some of Reason remained paralysed.” Documentation was delayed but was in a state of completion or release, with many others still in their infancy.
“We also work in adapted premises, which are state spaces, such as offices, that we have modified to accommodate this type of work; we already have six that were from the health sector located in Rio Potrero And are in the stage of completion.”
All of these constructions include Type Four houses, which will be located mostly in agricultural towns. “They are made of wood and have a zinc roof, and are widely acknowledged for their quality and fine finish; they will be located mainly in the municipalities of Jesús Menéndez, Manatei and Amancio.”
The completion of the housing program is one of the premises of this construction company, which is involved in the recovery efforts after the passage of the severe storm that hit the municipality of Jobabo, and for which it has 50 percent of its resources.
