The crypto market as a whole has been lower in the last 24 hours. All of the top 10 cryptos were down or flat at the time of writing.
US markets closed yesterday with the worst quarterly performance in two years. All three major indices fell sharply during the session with the SPX500 lower by 1.32%, while the DJ30 was lower by 1.25% and the NASDAQ100 by 1.29%.
US President Joe Biden has announced an unprecedented US government intervention in the oil market. He plans to launch 180 million barrels of oil on the market within six months.
The best cryptocurrencies
Bitcoin has fallen by almost 5% since yesterday, while BNB, Cardano and Avalanche have each fallen by more than 5%. XRP lost almost 6%.
Shiba Inu and Polkadot are the biggest losers in the top 20, with about 8% lower at the time of writing.
The situation in the top 100 was similar, with most coins losing between 6 and 9% of their value in the last 24 hours. Neo and Gala each lost 10%. Chiliz and IoTeX each lost 12%, reversing yesterday’s gains.
At the other extreme, Waves is one of the few profiteers, with more than 9% today. Phantom, which announced a $ 480 million grant program yesterday, achieved 3%.
Zilliqa also rose by 3%. He is recovering as the release of his metaverse approaches. SCALE Network, which is becoming increasingly attractive to developers, has added 5% to its value.
The biggest driver by far is STEPN with gains of 49%. The value of GMT, its native currency, has been steadily increasing since the beginning of March 2022, when it was listed on Binance.
This comes up with news of an upcoming big but unknown partnership between STEPN and an unknown entity, presumably Binance.
The biggest gain today is Dotmoovs (MOOV), which has risen 222% in the last 24 hours. It is a remote peer-to-peer sports competition platform that promises to bring a revolution in the way people view sports performance.
The platform claims that they have developed an artificial intelligence algorithm that enables them to predict tricks and sports movements through a video taken with a smartphone.
