The Panama Women’s U-20 could not get a result on the first day of the CONCACAF Women’s Championship (CU20W), after losing 0-6 to the United States at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium.

Jordan Dudley was the scorer of the match, with Alison Marie Santner scoring a double, Kathrine Ann Rader, Lauren Grace Martinho and Ellie Olivia Lemos.
Midfielder and captain Deysiré Salazar was substituted on 73′ due to injury and the atmosphere in the team led by Raiza Gutierrez caused concern.
Match goals
The Americans opened the scoring 28′ seconds into the game through Jordan Dudley, who headed in a cross from Katherine Ann Rader.
Canaleras Diana Pon and Desiree Salazar tried to respond with shots from mid-range, but goalkeeper Tegan Trentina Vay defended well in the background.
Alisson Marie Santner scored twice in 12 steps at 41′ and 49′ minutes, but before that Kathrine Ann Rader scored another with her left foot, taking advantage of a frontal rebound from the defensive area.
The victory was completed by Lauren Grace Martinho with a right footed shot on 64′ and Ellie Olivia Lemos again from the penalty spot on 71′.
Panama’s next match is against Canada on Sunday, May 28 at 2PM.
