Cuba regrets the loss of life caused by the earthquake in Morocco

Among the numerous expressions of solidarity with the Moroccan people after the devastating earthquake that struck this North African country, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel expressed this Saturday his deep regret for the deplorable loss of life and material caused to the country became an accident.

Expresamos desde #Cuba nuestro profundo pesar al pueblo y gobierno de #Marruecos por las lamentables pérdidas de vidas humanas y daños causados por el fuerte terremoto que afectó a la nación.

The Caribbean island’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, also expressed his solidarity with the relatives and friends of the victims of the disaster and wished the authorities of the Arab country a speedy recovery.

These messages complement those from heads of state and government and foreign ministries from the rest of the world, including Venezuela, Nicaragua, Ethiopia, Russia and Colombia.
