In any case, the solution to leave the country is sought,” said the center.
Rivero, his family and other foreign players from Maccabi Tel Aviv were transferred this Monday, October 9, to Cyprus, where they must play in the Euroleague on the 18th.
“Due to the result of the situation, we went to Cyprus to have greater security. Here we recovered our routine, training, doing everything as a team (…) The club did everything for our safety. The day after it all started they took us to Cyprus,” he added.
The Cuban added that, although the missiles did not reach the part where he lives in Tel Aviv, they could hear the roars from other nearby places, so, because they are not used to it, and as a be careful, they decided to take refuge. in the bunker, he and his wife and his little girl.
