“I think someone’s taken my daughter from the Kwinana Adventure playground,” he wrote on social media.
“Have called police but if you are in Kwinana and if you see a 1yr old looking bub in green bathers please let me know asap.”

To Matthew’s relief, Audrey was returned to him some 20 minutes later, however, she was wearing different clothes.
Other concerned locals who helped Matthew in his search say they saw two teenage girls running away from the park carrying a young child.
They followed the teenagers down the road and found police were already on the scene searching for Audrey.

Matthew says he was just meters away getting his family some ice cream, while Audrey was supervised by other family members.
“It was just a flurry of panic and nerves,” Matthew told 7NEWS.
“Someone said ‘I’ve seen your daughter with someone else’ and I was like wait what?”
“So I ran around and did laps of the park looking for her.”

Audrey’s mother Erin told 7NEWS she was at work at the time and was distraught upon hearing the news her daughter was missing.
“Obviously all these horrible things are going through your head with what happened with Cleo Smith … so I kind of had a bit of a meltdown,” she said.
Matthew said Audrey is now safe and sound and has no idea what happened to her.
He thanked the community for all their help in locating Audrey and warned other parents to keep a close eye on their children.
“It only takes two minutes for anything to happen,” he said.
“Never wait and trust your gut.”
Police questioned two teenage girls in relation to the incident on Sunday.
