Dani Alves assured that the relationship was consensual and denied the attack

Dani Alves, on the third day of the trial held against him by the Court of Barcelona for sexual assault, declared that his relations with the victim were consensual and assured that the woman herself placed her hand “in my intimate parts. ” while they danced, did not reject, and, on the contrary, joined him in the bathroom.

Two days after the victim confirmed in court that the Brazilian soccer player raped her, the accused maintained that there was no type of abuse, especially aggression, and that the complainant was ready and participating at all times.

Dani Alves, who refused to answer questions from the prosecution and private prosecution, only answered questions from his defense, reporting that on the night of the case he was drinking with “some friends” until he had five bottles of wine and one of whisky before they went to a nightclub called Nuba, where they had another drink, and then went to Sutton Nightclub with a friend.

The Brazilian soccer player arrived, according to his story, at the nightclub around 2:30 a.m. and with his friend he danced with two women until they left, when they invited the other three, the plaintiff and two companions.

“I am a close person, but with a lot of respect. We talked, the complainant and I, interacting and enjoying,” said Dani Alves in his statement, admitting that the complainant’s dance was worse, “and when we twerked. He put his hand on my private parts. When he touched me, I thought there was sexual attraction, and when I talked to him about taking a shower, he said yes, I don’t need to insist.”

It was then that the accused invited the girl to accompany him to the bathroom, and, according to his statement, he did not insist. “I told him to go to the bathroom, me first and then let him in. I went there, I waited for a while, and I thought he would not come back, but when I went out, I saw that he had entered,” he explained.

“He started unbuttoning my pants, and I helped him. He climbed on top of me and started giving me fellatio,” he described next, adding that after the fellatio, the woman sat on him “I held her by the waist, and when I went to ejaculate, “I tried it outside of his gender. Then I told her that I didn’t like the two of us together.”

After recounting his version of the events, Dani Alves rejected that the complainant put any kind of objection in the bathroom, believing that he agreed and actively participated in the encounter, which, moreover, was not violent. “I’m not a violent man, and I never grabbed her by the hair. She didn’t lean on the sink; she didn’t tell me she wanted to leave; I didn’t slap her; I didn’t grab her by the hair and throw her on the floor,” he said in this sense, repeating that throughout the event “we enjoyed ourselves.”

Finally, the Brazilian assured that at any time, after leaving the bathroom, he saw the women and that he left the Sutton nightclub on his way home to find out about the complaint through a press release. There, through tears, Alves explained that “they sent me a statement telling me that they accused me.”
