The state of Arizona, in the United States, will offer financial assistance to its residents worth $750.00 USD. The money belongs to the Tax Refund for Families program, which will support more than 700,000 households.
The initiative has been announced for some time, but it was approved last week. The state has a fund with excess revenue over expenditures of more than $2 billion.
The numbers given correspond to the ages of the family members. In homes where people under the age of 17 live and are adults, $250.00 USD will be charged for each child.
The requirements that must be met
Households with citizens over 17 years of age and dependent on their relatives will receive $100.00 USD per person. Those responsible for residences have the right to charge three dependent residents to reach the maximum government contribution. Parents supervising three children over 17 years of age can access $300.00 USD.
Interested parties have a deadline to submit information about their tax situation that expires on November 17 of the current year. The state Department of Finance will review this documentation to select the population that will receive the financial resources.
Taxpayers who send the affidavit immediately will receive the stimulus check next Monday, October 30. However, it is expected that almost all beneficiaries will receive cash compensation in the coming year.
Those who qualify for assistance can only claim the 2021 tax that must be declared. These people must have lived that year in Arizona with their family members. The final requirement establishes that citizens cannot have debts with taxes for 2019, 2020, and 2021.
