Police worked on many angles without delay
Police sought help from Yahoo.com in getting the IP address used by the girl to send emails to US Citizen Services to trace the girl’s location. Simultaneously, Delhi Police also asked for her immigration form from the Immigration Department, in which the girl had given her residence address as Khasra Number 44 and 45, Greater Noida.
When the police then reached there, that address turned out to be of Radisson Blu Hotel. When the police inquired there, it came to know that no such girl had checked-in at the hotel. After this, the IP address of the WhatsApp number that the girl was using was traced.
