Sources from the Attorney General’s Office confirmed to SEMANA that the ex-husband of actress Marilyn Patiño was killed along with three other people in a massacre reported on October 15 in the rural area of Caloto, Cauca.
It was learned that he was last seen alive on Sunday, after riding in a truck with his girlfriend; The following hours are being re-established by CTI agents.
The judicial report says that the four people were traveling in private cars in the Puente la Trampa sector when they were approached by unknown people.
“They were gagged and killed in the sugarcane fields,” witnesses told authorities when they recovered the four gunned-down bodies, two of whom were seen with their hands tied.
Later, they found burned cars, a criminal practice often carried out by the Dagoberto Ramos structure of FARC dissidents, which has a large presence in the sector where the events took place.
At that time, only one of the victims was identified: Alex Ricardo Barrera, 47, who has a criminal record for alleged fraud and threats, in events reported between 2017 and 2018.
