The grand finale of the third season of MasterChef Celebrity had a lot of mixed emotions, because while it was thought that Paco Palencia had almost secured first place due to his consistency throughout the weeks, a raw fish cost him the finale.

The public noticed that Manu Nna, Fabiola Campomanes and Poncho de Nigris were the most absent in this very special episode.
Let us recall that the elimination of Poncho de Nigris occurred when there were only a few days left until his appearance in “The House of Famous Mexico” on Televisa.
This led to the belief that he had committed treason and he accepted that his departure was planned.
“It was a strategy that I developed. I had to be there for some shows but I already made a salted egg there so I could go out because I’m good in the kitchen but that’s my thing. I was born in Big Brother and now I’m in the House of the Famous and I think I have a chance to win. It would be my third bull run and the third time is the charm.”
Why didn’t Poncho make the final of MasterChef Celebrity?
After saying that he planned his exit and was locked in the famous Mexico’s house, Poncho explained that he didn’t take part in the MasterChef Celebrity finale because he wasn’t invited!
It happened via a tweet in which the Infierno team member responded to a follower’s comment by explaining his absence.
Could it be that Poncho wasn’t invited because the MasterChef final would have been recorded while he was still in the famous Mexico’s house?
