Mexicali, BC. At the age of 33, he is a victim of sexual, digital, psychological, labor, institutional violence, and impunity.
In addition to a lawsuit for unjustified dismissal from the social security institution of the government of Baja California, three complaints are pending with the Office of the Attorney General of the State: 0202-2022-13133 for the crime of rape, 0202-2022-11766 for family violence, and 0202-2022-07422 for sexual abuse of minors under 14 years of age.
In the first two, he was the victim, and in the third, one of his daughters.
Jovanna Isabel Ortega was born in the Mexicali Valley. She studied medicine at a private university in Mexicali, graduated, and then completed a master’s degree in nutrition.
In 2022, he got a job at ISSSTECALI, a social security agency for teachers and bureaucrats in Baja California, where his misery and violence of all kinds began when it was revealed that he had an Onlyfans page where he promoted his images and, as a result, rejected the suggestions of a doctor attached to that hospital.
Without his consent, his photos and videos began to circulate on social networks and on accounts shared between employees and managers, creating crimes of digital violence, sexual harassment, and workplace harassment, in addition to discrimination due to being a woman.
Her main detractor became a doctor, a relative of a high-ranking official of the state government, who, because of his influence in the institution, began to block Jovanna Isabel from work.
From there, he became a strip doctor, a sensual doctor in a blasphemous way, and he was assigned to the emergency room of that hospital.
Afterward, they simply left him without a contract as a General Substitution Physician and fired him, as announced by the head of the Salaries and Salaries Department, Lourdes MejÃa, in letter DRH-RL-1047-2023, dated July 15, 2023.
He filed a labor claim for unjust dismissal, but at the Labor Conciliation Center, a representative of the legal area offered him a contract for only one year, without endorsement, in a restricted area of ISSSTECALI, under the care of another doctor.
Therefore, the conciliation officer, Denise Vargas, issued a non-conciliation on September 26, registered in file MXL-CI-2023-005003.
At the end of October, Jovanna Isabel filed a lawsuit for unjustified dismissal that included reinstatement at ISSSTECALI Hospital and payment of “lost wages.”
The situation raises legal questions about Issstecali Hospital’s decision to fire him. In the Federal Labor Law of Mexico, no clause justifies the dismissal of an employee for having an OnlyFans account.
This may be considered wrongful termination unless the content of said account somehow involves the company’s logo, image, or slogan, which would be considered inappropriate use of the company’s image.
So far, the directors of the Issstecali Hospital have not issued any public comment in response to the accusations of Jovanna Isabel Ortega.
His life was a journey of violence because, from the age of seven, he was a sexual victim of an uncle, and his mother never believed him.
To stop the abuse, she left home and later met her first husband and started giving massages, dancing in clubs, and supporting her academic training by studying medicine and nutrition.
