Domination and social development, common causes of Cuba and Africa
Havana, May 22, 2023. – The unbreakable ties between African Nations and Cuba have historical roots and are based on sincere cooperation, said the member of the Political Bureau of the party and the president of the National Assembly of Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández. the ambassadors received from him on the 28th at the National Capitol.
On the occasion of the coming of Africa, the 25th of May, Lazo advocated a greater exchange between the Ambassadors of African and Cuban Nations, increasing consultations, and the expansion of parliamentary friendship groups. He also wanted their countries to be successful, and the 60th anniversary of the United African Nations, now the African Union (AU).
He expressed Cuba’s gratitude for the solidarity received from Africa, and gave a copy of the resolution approved three months ago in the AU, to remove the economic, commercial and economic blockade imposed by the United States.
The ambassador of Gabon, Jean Claude Moussounda, acting dean of the AU in Cuba, recalled that most African countries had freed themselves from the yoke of colonialism because of the free support provided by the Cubans, and he supported the emancipatory cause of both towns.
Later, the ambassador José Luis Toledo Santander, who until the 9th Legislature served as President of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Commission, explained the whole process of organizing the republic, after the approval of the Constitution, in 2019, and they more than approved him. 30 laws and about a hundred laws decide.
