December 10, 2023.- Former President Donald Trump wrote in a social media post on Sunday that he will not testify in his $250 million civil fraud trial in New York on Monday, CNBC reported in a press release. .
“I will not testify on Monday,” Trump wrote in a multi-part post in all caps on Truth Social.
Trump was previously expected to return to the witness stand this week to testify in his own defense in the fraud trial brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
“President Trump has testified,” Trump’s attorney Chris Kise said in a statement on Sunday. “There is nothing more to say about a judge imposing an unconstitutional gag order and thus far seemingly ignoring the testimony of President Trump and everyone involved in the complex financial transactions in the case.”

“I have confirmed everything and I have nothing more to say except that this is a complete and utter election interference (Biden campaign!) hunting that does nothing but suppress New York businesses,” said he.
