The candidate for Elementary School of Democratic Action, Carlos Prosperi, criticized the “biases” of the results and accused Súmate of acting in the same way as the National Electoral Council (CNE) it criticized.

The leader has conditioned the recognition of the results in a press conference that he held in the afternoon of Saturday, October 21, where he stated that he has no confidence in the president of the CNP, Jesús María Casal.
“I decided to participate in the primaries despite everything we saw, but now we realize that everything we criticized in the last few days happened. Now we find ourselves with members of the polling station who did not receive of their credentials, with a new set of voting centers,” he said.

He repeated that they proposed the National Primary Commission that the process should be postponed, but the request was not accepted. “Today I cannot endorse any kind of actions that violate the right to self-expression. There are about 8% and 10% of voting centers that do not work,” he said.
He also pointed out that since they did not have technical assistance from the CNE, the results “will not express the truth.”
