Dozens of new places to stay, eat and play in Colorado’s ski cities this winter.

New to ski towns in Colorado this winter: redesigned hotel rooms, improved mountain dining and dining options that will take you straight to the Alps from a table in the Rocky Mountains.

From the steamboat to Telluride and all along the I-70 corridor, we’re tracking dozens of new places to dine, drink, and sleep. Many of these destinations have been waiting to open their doors since the start of the pandemic. There are about 40 hotels, restaurants, bars and salons that have opened since the last ski season.

Aspen

Limelight aspen was reopened at the end of November after an eight-month renovation, during which the lobby, lobby and bar were refurbished, as well as all 126 rooms. • Participants can check the newly opened Aspen mountain club this season. His pandemic redesign was the first for a 21-year-old club member. • in NYC Felix Roasting Co. designed a postcard-worthy café that opened in September at the Jerome Hotel.

Chica by celebrity chef Lorena Garcia will debut in December at Residences at Little Nell. • Catch a steak, another New York City transplant, unveils its huge rooftop at the corner of Galena Street and Hopkins Avenue this season. • Casa D’AngeloAn Italian restaurant by chef Angelo Elia opened on Mill Street in July. • Dante, also from New York, is returning this season serving cocktails and coastal Italian cuisine at the St. Regis. • And iconic Woody Creek Tavern opened in the summer with new local owners. Look for an updated food menu in an equally trendy setting.

Beaver creek

At the end of November, the newest restaurant in Beaver Creek Village opened next to the ice rink. Citrea The hotel has an upscale restaurant with a courtyard in the center of the village and a cozy bar. The menu ranges from freshly baked pita bread and muhammar to shrimp tagine and whole-baked striped bass.

Breckenridge

V New laboratory of the founder of Breckenridge Distillery leads the drinkers behind the scenes, teaching them the tricks of the whiskey blender for several hours.
