The National Road Safety Agency has launched a mandatory course for young people between the ages of 16 and 21 who want to obtain a National Driver’s License for cars and motorcycles. Those who do not do this will not be able to continue this process.
The new modality is available throughout the country, can be used from now on, is free, self-managed and agile, and aims to ensure that young people have the necessary theoretical knowledge before the theoretical exam to apply for the license, as reported in a statement.
The course is called “My first license” and it is a tour of correlative modules where there is audiovisual material and information to read.
They will gain knowledge about LNC, the regulatory framework, what are the safety elements of vehicles, what is the concept of safe and efficient driving and how to do it.
Also the psychophysical conditions of a driver, risk factors and traffic signs and laws. Once the tour is complete, a button will be available to download the course completion certificate.
This certificate must be presented to process the license at the corresponding Driver’s License Issuing Center, according to the address registered with the DNI.
As of September 21, those who have not completed this course will no longer be able to proceed with the license acquisition process.
The requirements apply: have a user previously registered in the Mi Argentina application and then enter “My first license” to choose which course to take, for car and / or motorcycle.
The goal is to promote the early training of young people, because those under 35 years of age are the main victims of road accidents. In addition, last year alone 205 thousand minors under the age of 21 obtained a driver’s license.
“For a boy, getting his license for the first time is an unforgettable moment. We want it to be remembered not just as a procedure but as an example of the deep connection to road safety through the knowledge that will help you take your first steps as a driver on public roads safely,” said the executive director of ANSV, Pablo MartÃnez Carignano.
