Mumbai: Millions of people have lost their lives due to the dreaded second kill of Corona Virus that has arisen in the country. These include leaders, general public and journalists called as the fourth pillar of democracy. According to a report, in the first six months of May, an average of 4 journalists died every day after being hit by Corona. According to the data, 24 journalists lost their lives from May 1 to May 6. About 90 journalists died in the month of April.
The senior journalist, Kota Neelima, has tweeted and cited the report which showed a staggering figure of journalists’ deaths from Corona. Neelima tweeted, writing, “In the first 6 days of May, an average of 4 journalists died per day #Covid.”

At the same time, The Hindu Publishing Group director N Ram released a report on Twitter saying that, “The death toll related to Covid-19 of journalists in India is 171 (as of 6 May)”. 122 lost their lives in this second wave in the last 36 days. ”

It is known that recently, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also targeted the Center on the issue of journalists dying due to Corona epidemic on 2 May. He said in one of his tweets, “Look at the condition of those who show you 24 hours once!” Rahul Gandhi has also shared a news according to which 165 journalists have died in India from Corona in India.

The country is constantly witnessing a dangerous form of corona. This dreadful second wave of Corona is wreaking havoc in the country. According to the data, the number of corona infects has crossed four lakh on Thursday. A total of 4.14 lakh new cases were reported across India and 3927 people died.
