Eddie Murphy is in talks to lead the new project. It is currently unknown who else is attached to the proposed film. However, a source close to the actor describes the project as something natural for him. Apparently, American comedians have deeply admired the work of Peter Sellers for a long time. Peter Sellers played Jacques Clouseau during the 1960s. So, the American comedian is extremely excited about the reboot.
