To promote artistic creation and reflection on the values of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate students, a competition was held, the winning work of which will serve as a Christmas greeting card from the Ejea de los Caballeros City Council.
The now traditional Christmas card contest organized by the Ejea de los Caballeros City Council, with this, 10 years ago, includes new features compared to other editions. In 2023, the recipients will be students from institutes and schools studying ESO and Baccalaureate.
As stated in the Bases, the work should have Christmas as a general reference, its meaning as a time of the meeting, expression of feelings and emotions, and formation of wishes and goals for new year, regardless of the beliefs that each person may have.
In the suggestion that the works may have a connection with the reality we live in and, especially with the terrible war scenarios that are currently unfolding in the world, a motto is proposed that may inspire the students: LET’S ASK A VOICE FOR THE END OF CRUELTY, although it is not necessarily mandatory and necessary.
The submission deadline ends on Thursday, November 30, at 2:00 pm. The works will be presented to the General Registry of the Ejea de los Caballeros City Council.
Prizes will consist of vouchers that can be used at local businesses. A first reward valued at 300 € and its use as an image to greet Christmas from the Office of the Mayor of Ejea, a second prize valued at 200 €, and a Third award valued at 100 €. In this way, the Ejea de los Caballeros City Council continues to collaborate with Ejea Comercio, to encourage local and nearby consumption.
