A man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison in the state of Bolivar for sexually abusing his 11-year-old son.
The 47-year-old subject was arrested on June 30, 2019, in Kachame Palli, Karoni Municipality.
The Thirteenth Prosecutor of the Public Ministry of the Institution accused the citizen of the crime of sexual abuse with the admission of continuous action.
The sentence was carried out by the First Trial Court of Puerto Ordaz. The place of imprisonment would be Oriente Penitentiary Center, better known as El Dorado Prison.
Case
The subject was detained inside his home in the Villa Colombia sector by officers of the Bolivar State Police.
The victim told her mother that her father sexually abused her several times, for which the mother reported the attacker to the authorities.
They determined that the abuser took advantage of the weekend he shared with the minor to abuse her, according to the report commissioned by the Ministry of Public Health.
In this case, the partner of the child’s father was convicted: a 52-year-old man, of the offense of sexual assault without penetration.
